Asset Inspection Tags is a lightweight tool for generating inspection labels and exporting PDFs. We collect the minimum data needed to operate the service.
What we collect
- Payment events: PayPal order IDs and status used to prevent payment re-use.
- Basic analytics (optional): page views and aggregated usage metrics when enabled.
Saved work on your device
Saved project names and label settings are kept in local browser storage. Exported PDFs and interrupted batches are kept in this browser’s IndexedDB for recovery, with a temporary export authorization while a batch is unfinished. These files are not synchronized across devices. You can delete projects and PDFs in the generator or clear this site’s browser data. Shared-device users should remove saved work after use.
When analytics is configured, events measure generator visits, configuration, alignment tests, checkout, completed payments, and download initiation. Analytics events do not include project names, serial IDs, QR destinations, or PDF contents. Purchase events include the PayPal order ID, currency, and amount. Download events indicate that the browser was asked to save a file, not proof that a customer kept it.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell personal information.
- We don’t store your PayPal card/bank details (handled by PayPal).
- We don’t claim to certify compliance or store inspection “truth.”
